Andrew Hickey

Andrew Hickey is a research analyst for Templeton Global Investments with research responsibilities for global small-cap equities as a generalist.

Prior to joining Templeton in 2022, Mr. Hickey worked as a research analyst at Evergreen Gavekal, where he was responsible for equity research covering industrials, materials, energy, consumer discretionary, and consumer staples. Mr. Hickey also interned at Horizon Kinetics where he supported senior portfolio managers in equity research on both long and short ideas during his MBA program. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hickey was a civil/structural engineer, and a member of project leadership teams executing engineering, procurement, and construction projects ranging from $500M to $21B.

Mr. Hickey holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Clemson University and an M.B.A. from the Boston College Carroll School of Management. He is also a licensed professional engineer (SC).
