Eric K. Zimmerman

Eric Zimmerman is a vice president and senior client portfolio manager for Franklin Templeton Fixed Income (FTFI). As a senior client portfolio manager in the US Wealth Management Financial Institutions group, Mr. Zimmerman is responsible for partnering with National Accounts in developing and supporting relationships with FTFI clients and prospects. Mr. Zimmerman was previously a senior client portfolio manager for the Templeton Global Macro team, and before that a member of the National Accounts team at Franklin Templeton Distributors, Inc., with responsibility for business development and managing relationships with home office gatekeepers and portfolio managers at the firm's largest wirehouse and bank clients.

Mr. Zimmerman brings 28 years of diverse industry experience. Directly prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2016 he was a director on BlackRock's Manager Research Consultant Team focused on advisory platform development. Before that Mr. Zimmerman was a value equity client portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. He spent the first seven years of his career at DG Deutsche Genossenschaftsbank AG in several different roles including serving as a corporate banking relationship manager in New York and Atlanta.

Mr. Zimmerman holds a B.A. in International Relations and German from Bucknell University, and an M.B.A. in International Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
