Matt Quinlan

Matt Quinlan is the lead portfolio manager of the Franklin Equity Income strategy and its associated accounts and a co-lead portfolio manager of the Franklin Rising Dividends strategy and its associated accounts.

Mr. Quinlan joined Franklin Equity Group in 2005. He was previously a portfolio manager for the Franklin Income and Franklin Convertible Securities strategies. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Mr. Quinlan worked in investment banking at Citigroup, where he covered the retail and consumer products industries and worked with private equity firms on acquisitions and financings for their portfolio companies.

Mr. Quinlan holds a B.A. in history from UCLA and an M.B.A. from The Anderson School at UCLA.
