Vander Shanholt, CFA

Vander Shanholt is a vice president and research analyst for Franklin Templeton Fixed Income - Municipal Bonds in San Mateo, California, United States. Mr. Shanholt is responsible for reviewing primary and second market offerings within the multifamily housing, student housing and tobacco sectors. In addition, Mr. Shanholt covers certain Puerto Rican entities, including the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA), the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA) and AES Puerto Rico.

Mr. Shanholt has nearly 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Franklin Templeton in 2007 as a futures associate.

Mr. Shanholt holds a bachelor of arts in economics from Middlebury College. He is a CFA Charterholder.
