Gene Todd, president and head of Regional Markets for Fiduciary Trust International, leads the teams across the firm's global footprint that provide wealth management advice, solutions and service to individuals, family offices, foundations, and endowments. He is a member of Fiduciary Trust's Executive, Management, and Operating Committees. He is also a member of Franklin Templeton Management Committee. Gene has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including wealth management, private equity, venture capital, M&A and leveraged buyouts.

Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust, Gene served as head of wealth management at First Bank, Inc., one of the country's largest family-owned banks. Prior to joining First Bank, he served as director of sales at Key Private Bank and head of the Equity Sponsor Group at National City Corp., now PNC Bank. Prior to joining PNC, he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, focused on M&A and capital market transactions for leveraged buyout firms.

Gene earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University.

Gene frequently appears on nationally recognized media outlets including CNBC and Yahoo Finance! to share his insights on the financial markets. Gene serves as Board Chair of Fiduciary Trust Company of Canada, and he is a former board member of the Bank Insurance & Securities Industry (BISA). Gene holds the FINRA Series 24 license in his oversight capacity of Fiduciary Trust International, LLC's private funds. In his spare time, Gene enjoys spending time with his family, working out and riding his Harley.
